I was recently given these Campagnolo Omega tubular rims from the good people at Cheeky Transport in Newtown. The owner on the rims had kept the original Campagnolo hubs but no longer wanted to ride on tubular rims. I decided to rebuild the rims as a set of wheels for a future track bike. It seemed only right match Campagnolo parts so I ordered some Record Pista hubs with 32 spoke holes… the most beautiful hubs I’ve worked with! I’m really happy with the results.
After a three year lapse from track racing, I’ve just bought a new track frame. With a few more parts, I’ll be rolling around Tempe Velodrome very soon!
