Darryl rode his old Shimano C24 7900 until his rims had worn out. He’d received great value from these wheels over 5 years but it was time for new wheelset. We decided on the HED Belgium Plus rims with White Industries T11 hubs for superior comfort, durability, and repairability. The 2.0/1.6/2.0mm butted DT Swiss Competition Race spoke with alloy nipples were chosen to keep the weight down while the regular DT Competition 1.8mm were used on the rear drive-side for extra strength.
