Phil’s Roval Control SL front wheel had suffered from galvanic corrosion of the alloy nipples after last years Cape 2 Cape. We rebuilt his wheel with new spokes and brass nipples which are fare less reactive to corrosion.

As a house rule, we don’t build any mountain bike wheelsets with alloy nipples unless there is specific request for them, such as elite competition purposes.
